As many of you know, The Original Okeechobee MudFest is over, and - due to weather circumstances beyond our control - not every person who wished to attend this event was able to enter the park that weekend. The torrential rains that came early Friday afternoon made road conditions near the entrance a challenge to navigate for non-4WD vehicles. It was determined by park management and Okeechobee County safety personnel that we should close our gates temporarily Friday at midnight and attend to the entrance area, as the situation could have posed a threat to public safety if conditions were to worsen. We opened the front gates again at 8:30am Saturday. This difficult decision was made in the interest of safety for all park patrons, staff, and security personnel that were headed to or already in our park.
We apologize sincerely for this situation and regret any inconvenience that it may have caused.
To address this situation, Muddy Water Entertainment management has implemented the unprecedented policy of providing
to all of our fans who were unable to use their pre-paid tickets to enter our park over the weekend.
If you would like to request a refund, please follow the policy outlined below:
Remember, YOU may not have been the one who used their card to purchase the ticket. We will NOT be able to find your ticket and issue your refund unless you provide us with the name of the ticket purchaser!
